Run Athletics launched in the Fall of 2003 by Hip Hop visionary Russell Simmons and his brother Joseph Simmons (a.k.a. Rev Run) former member of Rap group RUN DMC. Rev Run partnered with Phat Pharm footwear in 2001 and served as the President. In this collection Run Athletics intorduces a high-top Legacy and pays homage to the style “back in the day”. Cipher is an independent luxury shoe brand designed and manufactured out of Hong Kong. They have some really dope designs that are a mixture of athletic and casual. The line debuted last year and they are back again with two new styles for Holiday 2007. The shoes are extremely limited and will be carried at the finest streetwear noutiques such as Bodega, Grey One and Concepts in Boston.
