Anyone familiar with Mark Millar’s explosive graphic novel series will be amped to know that Timur Bekmambetov [The Night Watch] — visual director extraordinaire — will helm the tale known as Wanted.

Wanted – the tale of one apathetic nobody’s transformation into an unparalleled enforcer of justice and justice will be introduced to a new generation and his name is: Wesley Gibson.

25-year-old Wes, played by James McAvoy [The Last King of Scotland], is a cube-dwelling, disaffected, socially obtuse drone the planet has ever not-known. His boss treats him like a subordinate crony, his girlfriend ignores him routinely and his life is the most boring ever! With nothing else to do but punch-in and out on the clock, Wes’ life was nothing to envy.

Upon meeting Angelina Jolie who plays Fox, the tale of Wes’ estranged father is revealed and Wes is recruited into the Fraternity.

Morgan Freeman and Common are also tacked on to this project that is set for release on March 28th, 2008.
