Pictures are beginning to surface of some upcoming Nike releases for this summer. Unfortunately we only have catalog scans of some of the most anticipated releases, but there are some samples of some sleeper hits after the jump. Thanks to NTinfomaniac of Niketalk for the snaps.

The two catalog shots pictured above depict the upcoming Jordan V/Air Force One hybrid. We’ve already seen the release of the XII/AF1 mash up, and this appears to be the most Jordan collectors can hope for in terms of retros, aside from the upcoming Countdown Pack.

It’s borderline unbelievable that only after all the absurd laser printed Max Premium Supreme garbage that came out in celebration of the AF1 25th anniversary that we see some releases people have been trying to track down for years. Granted, the trio of canvas Air Forces are women’s sizes, so you big footed dudes might be out of luck, but I still feel like we should expect to see stitching of Kobe’s mug on the heel or something. As is often the case with a quality Air Force sneaker, less is definitely more here.

These bring back memories. Before the time of the sneaker boutique, Eastbay mailorder catalogs, out of the way Footactions, and on the hush mom and pop shops were the lay of the land. The original color of these Zoom Flight 5’s were all the rage. The Simpsons were still funny. That’s what a retro release is all about I suppose.

Two steps forward, and about eight steps back. Apparently being called the Santa Cruise (Cruz?) these abominations are a tri-brid of a Dunk, Vandal, and a Blazer. This is sadly what those Eastbay catalogs are looking like these days. I’m not even going to be so bold as to suggest some innovative releases for the next generation to wax philosophical about, but would it be that difficult to actually release some Vandals or Blazers on their own? Instead we have Frankenstein here, wonderful.

While I was never a big fan of the Air Raid, it’s always nice to see a retro release staying true to the original design. While the Peace Print will never achieve the notoriety of cement or splatter patterns, that’s probably for the best. Check out the upper left corner in the background…is that a linen Air Force 1? I honestly can’t tell but cross your fingers…

I’m calling it right now. This is going to be the summer jam in terms of sneakers this year. With the success of the first round of CB 34’s, there is absolutely no upcoming release that balances the way back when with the here and now better. Mark my words, you’ll want two pair of these.

An infrared-ish Air Max 95? Sounds good to me. A black sole would have been nice, but I can’t complain with one of the best ‘95 releases in the past few years. The Air Max 1’s are promising as well, but I have a feeling they will be drowned out by some of the other stronger releases this summer.
