The Big Zoo Rehab
Tuesday, January 15, 2008 | Author: Jon LedfordGhostface Killah is a man of many hats - member of the legendary Wu-Tang Clan, acclaimed solo artist, Wally Champ, streetwear muse, and now he can add skateboard sponsorship to his list. In celebration of his recent release, The Big Doe Rehab, P Tone got together with another inescapable NYC entity in the form of ubiquitous skate company Zoo York on a tee and skate deck release.

The tee features many of the nicknames bestowed upon Ghost, many by Ghost himself. The deck and the image behind the text utilizes the imagery used for the cover of his new album. I can’t say I’ve been a big fan of the Zoo since they added a white rhino to their collection, but it wouldn’t really matter who made this shirt since it’s a solid, if a bit tired, concept. I guess the reason companies keep dipping into the Ghostface well is because the dude continues to inspire and entertain. Don’t buy it? Check out this video and try to tell me you wouldn’t want your brand associated with this dude.

Limited to less than 500 promo-only pieces and slated to release in early February 2008, these co-op collectibles will be available exclusively through in-store and online promos from Def Jam, Cornerstone, and of course, the Zoo.
