Los Angeles based specialty hat shop Hall of Fame has released three fitted caps in collaboration with New Era. Based on their Greek column logo, the hats feature a raised embroidery of what is presumably the arm of Zeus holding up a lightning bolt. Check out detailed pictures of each cap after the jump.

The color selection on these caps show excellent taste. As easy as it would be to use bright colors, tonal blacks, or even Dodger blue, the cap color takes the logo into account and works with it instead of alongside it. I’m most excited about the brown piece, as quality earth toned New Eras are few and far between.

The use of the raised embroidery is also a nice touch, as it hearkens back to the original use of the New Era cap for Major League ball clubs. The stitching gives the caps a texture that shouldn’t be overlooked either.

As part of the burgeoning Fairfax scene in LA, Hall of Fame seems prepared for a big year in 2008. With any luck, this is only the beginning of New Era caps from Hall of Fame this year.
