In yet another meeting this year between two of Nike’s biggest sellers we have pictures of an upcoming pair of laser etched Jordan XII Fusion Air Forces. Looks like the folks at the Swoosh are really trying to push this concept. Now we’re starting to see stuff that isn’t even based on previous Jordan releases.

You’ll notice that much of the stitching has been replaced by the laser etching that has become so popular lately. The resulting palette of browns works well, and while Jordan purists probably won’t want anything to do with this colorway, they had likely already made up their mind at the mention of Fusion.

All the same, I’m not much of an Air Force High dude, but something about these is pretty intriguing. I have a feeling these will be one of those shoes people turn the corner on after it’s too late. The fusion hype is going to turn a lot of people away, but this is a pretty timeless colorway. I’d recommend scooping a pair now and save yourself the hassle later on.

I would seriously love to tell you what’s in that hologram. I really would. But I can’t make out a damn thing. Maybe this shoe is really on that 90’s retro tip and it’s one of those Magic Eye Stereograms. Seriously, I got nothin’.

In any case, these puppies should be hitting stores fairly soon, although no concrete release info is available just yet. Evil Collector will keep you posted!
