New Diamonds On The Market
Saturday, January 26, 2008 | Author: Jon LedfordNick Diamond is at it again with a slew of new Diamond tees for the winter. There’s already been a lot of talk over the Ridin’ Neon design pictured above, and it’s a nice change of pace to see several brand new designs this time around, instead of color tweaks of previously released stuff. Check out the rest of the lineup after the jump.

Many of you may not realize it but 2008 marks the tenth year anniversary of The Diamond Supply Company. Long before Nike collaborations or a Fairfax brick and mortar shop came along, Diamond was pushing quality skate hardware and hooking up pretty much every legit street skater with the goods. To commemorate the anniversary, we have the Ten Years tee done up in two different colors.

Here we have a collaboration with The Skateboard Mag with a very clear message to cops and security officers who have nothing better to do than assault teenagers. I’m 100% down with the message behind this tee, but the execution isn’t quite up to par with what I’ve come to expect from Diamond.

Next up is my favorite tee of the bunch, which just so happens to be another collaboration. This time Diamond paired up with Tribute out of the Bay Area to create a great Vegas inspired design. Cherry-cherry…bell! Cherry-cherry…bell!

This tee, dubbed the Coat of Arms, utilizes many of the logos and imagery seen on recent work from the brand. A little stale perhaps, but the color gradient on the two tees on the right is pretty sick.

This Diamond Side tee feels like a bit of a throwaway design. The tiffany color will undoubtedly be a hit though. Seriously though, avoid rocking this if you’re starting to balloon out of your smedium tees, side prints on us healthy eaters is not a good look.

We get another strong gradient print with the NY Never Sleeps tee. I’m especially into the tones on the heather grey tee.

Last, but never ever least, Diamond worked with the Soul Assassins yet again. You can seriously never go wrong with a Suicidal Tendencies send-up. All I wanted was a Pepsi!
All the tees pictured above are available now from the fine folks at Elite Boardshop. It would be in your best interest if you hit them up to get the tees you need, before you hurt yourself or somebody else.
