All too often, sneaker collectors, blogs, companies themselves, and pretty much everyone throw way too much hyperbole and exaggerate their opinions, either from a lack of creativity in their writing or in an effort to generate more attention, page hits, or sales. Conscious or not, everyone is guilty of it, and I’m no different. With that said, the Air Jordan Carmine VI’s that will be part of the VI/XVII Countdown Pack may very well be the best sneaker release of the next five years.

Look at those soles! I’m sparing my editorializing for one article and letting the pictures speak for themselves. If pictures are worth a thousand words, pictures of Carmine VI’s are worth me checking my tongue.

Just, wow. Seriously.

May 2008 can’t come soon enough. The XVII’s bundled with these could honestly be smeared with Cheetos and Elmer’s Glue and I’d buy this pack.
