Get Hip To Frederique Daubal!
Tuesday, January 29, 2008 | Author: Kevin L. ClarkFashion and cell phone are constantly joining forces and as you see people with matching hat/cell phone combos, Frédérique Daubal, a French graphic and fashion designer - has linked up with Nokia for the newest phone - the Nokia 7900 Crystal Prism.
Daubal, whose signature illustrations have caught the imagination of the design and fashion worlds, lead to creation and concepts for Paul Smith, Colette, Swear, Gas Tokyo and Bumble & Bumble.
With inspiration taken from the way in which crystals are formed, the covers have been etched with laser technology. The color combo is a rich burgundy and black which gives off a very sleek vibe. Complimenting the handset, Nokia has a range of accessories that include an earpiece, which is color-matched with the back cover, a phone pouch and a textile print of Daubal’s elaborate illustration.
The Nokia 7900 Crystal Prism comes with a 2 megapixel camera, 3G technology, 1 GB of internal memory and a music player. Users can personalize the color of the light in the keymat choosing from 49 different colors. With the phone now available, 375EUR, the Nokia is dope for anyone who’s interested in that sort of thing. More pictures below and you can click here to learn more about the phone.
