Technically Speaking

Nike has started to release some new designs from their Tech Pack division. This apparel line marries classic style with futuristic technical aspects to create high end lifestyle products with a heavy focus on outerwear. So far we have images of a sport hoody and a lightweight windrunner, which suggests that the line will consist of many of the same pieces from the previous season, but with simple design twists.

As you’ll notice, all of the seams on these products are effectively sealed off from wind and rain. What’s nice is that this season, Nike throws that right in your face by allowing that aspect to work as a design accent. As much as I enjoy the functionality of my Tech Pack hoody, it lacks the design flair that is apparent this time around.

Let me tell you too, these things do their job. This isn’t a sales pitch, either. I was as skeptical as you might be, I mean just how water proof can a hoody be, really? Lo and behold, I stay dry, not to mention warm, in my Sport Hoody.

These features don’t come cheap, but with waterproof zippers and such a warm lining, you’re really getting your money’s worth. These two pieces are available now at We Sold Out!
