With high heels and paint…cans…(sorry) in tow, Insa has brought his in your face style to Glasgow for an exhibition at Recoat Gallery. Entitled “Buy My Love” the show features the fetishized imagery that Insa has become known for through his work with KidRobot, Nike, and Carhartt, not to mention his past street and gallery exhibitions. The show, sponsored bye Club Violate and Carhartt, opened last Friday to a line waiting at the door. Check out the rest of the article to get a taste of what Insa had up his sleeve.

I’m beginning to pick up on a bit of a theme here…While it may be easy to write off such superficial subjects as just that, there’s something striking in the incorporation of sneakers into work that is almost literally bursting with sexual tension.

Here we have Grimace’s younger, hotter cousin. Maybe not. Be honest, you noticed the Air Maxes before the T & A. It’s alright.

You may recognize the pattern on these heels from the 8″ Dunny and hoody Insa created for Kidrobot last year.
