WRG? Celebrates Black History Month
Monday, March 3, 2008 | Author: Jon LedfordWRG? in collaboration with Series Skateboards dropped a limited edition Black History month deck which features a crossword puzzle showcasing the names of 20 world class black skaters. The collaboration provides an exclusive package featuring one of only 100 7-ply Canadian maple deck, a limited edition poster and customized metallic silver sharpie.

On February 11th WRG? launched The Black History Month Project—an initiative to promote and create awareness about Black history and skateboarding. The project started with an online version of the crossword. The puzzle was virtual, the deck is tangible—hang it up or skate the hell out of it.

To help close out Black History Month, the skateboard was also shown alongside curated artworks revolving around skateboarding and black history, including photos, paintings, multimedia and installations, at Tokyo Night Club in Montreal, Canada on February 28th, 2007 featuring local and international contributors.
