Much like previous seasons, Supreme has enlisted the talents of some notable artists to contribute designs for their spring line. After the success of the tee and hoody series featuring R Crumb last fall, Supreme reached out to the notorious comic artist for some of his distinct lettering on the not so subtle raglan. For even more controversial artist collaborations, check out the rest of the article.

Legendary cartoonist Ralph Bakshi created three satirical designs like the one above for the Supreme spring line. For those in the know, the social commentary is immediately apparent. But for those unfamiliar with Bakshi or unable to pick up on the message beyond the initial imagery, I can see this shirt turning into another Ray Fong situation. Judging by the fairly wide availability of these even now on the Supreme online shop, it seems like many are worried about those exact reactions. There’s no denying that this in your face, subliminally subversive attitude represents the Supreme mentality though.

As mentioned earlier, R Crumb suppled his unique hand style to this raglan. This same graphic is also available on a standard tee, although I’m sure the stock is starting to dwindle on these releases. Hit up Supreme ASAP if you’re after these releases.
