Scifen has been around for a minute now and has come into it’s own in their west coast graffiti and hip hop inspired designs. Certainly not always my own personal taste, but I tip my hat to any brand with this kind of longevity. The brand has recently released a couple outerwear pieces and some interesting caps as well. This Elephant Star baseball jacket comes in two very timely colorways. Check out more pictures after the jump.

These S Stencil fitteds are nice and simple, even if it seems like just about every company managed to do something similar this season. I don’t think anyone is really biting, given the timing. That said, I can only have so many hats with a big S on ‘em. The tonal green is a good choice though, too bad these aren’t New Eras.

These Mr. Peanut fitteds are also nice and simple designs for spring. I like that the logo is actually cap ready, as too many companies throw any design on a fitted and hope it will stick. Apparently the Scifen elephant symbolizes the decline in human society as paralleled through the decline in the elephant population. How exactly this hat serves to remedy that in any small way is beyond me, but I suppose this isn’t a save the fitted, save the world type of situation. Both hat styles are limited to 50 pieces and are exclusive to the Scifen store in LA so get a move on.

I’m still not super psyched on striped hoodies like this but I straight up love the color scheme on the Between The Lines hoody on the left. Intentional or no, it reminds me of that Nautica and Tommy Hilfiger steez that was huge in the 90’s. I never got down with those brands back in the day, but always was intrigued by the color choices. The contrasting stripe breaks up the otherwise monotonous design perfectly. both the hoodies and baseball jackets are available now at the Scifen store and will arrive in Scifen accounts in the coming weeks.
