Huf Springs Into New Line
Saturday, April 26, 2008 | Author: Jon LedfordApologies for the corny headline but today marks the release of the Huf spring lineup. The past few seasons have seen the brand expand further beyond the traditional hoody/t shirt/cap/sneaker lineup and this season is no exception with some minimally branded jackets and oxfords. Nonetheless, the strongest pieces in the line remain the notorious H New Era caps and clean hoody designs. Check out some highlights after the jump.

This tonal script logo hoody is a great piece. The royal blue piece shown above might be a little too strong, so i hope there are some more muted colors released as well. While I tend to favor less showy designs for my outerwear, at least this color isn’t catering to the current teal/pink/purple palette that seems to be everywhere.

Now before you start searching Ebay and fumbling for your credit card to plunk down crazy money on this fitted, be aware that it’s not a fitted at all. This is actually a snapback New Era, but don’t let that change your mind. If you ask me, this script logo is even better than the traditional Huf H. The nacvy blue cap is especially strong, and hopefully will have a hoody to match.

Again we have some very basic beanies that can easily coordinate to whatever you put together. A small Huf tag accents the piece. I know the Bay area can have some cold mornings but I’m still wondering if this might not be a better look for the fall or winter.

This should be a very interesting release. From what I can gather, Al’s Attire creates custom coats and wedding attire out of San Francisco. There’s not much to go on here, but between the dark blue and green plaid and the clear attention to detail put in by Al’s, this is a definite winner. I really like the idea of local companies working together like this, even if it is a bit unexpected.
The new Huf line has released today at their San Francisco locations. With any luck the gear will also be available when the Huf online shop opens in a matter of hours. That said, the opening has been delayed multiple times over the past few days. Hopefully this will result in a smooth operation whenever it does open for business though, but only time will tell.
