I Wear My Sunglasses At NHTVSN
Thursday, May 8, 2008 | Author: Jon LedfordThe offspring of 3Sixteen, NHTVSN has reared it’s head again for a series of summer tees. This series is largely inspired by classic film imagery and quite honestly is coming close to exceeding uncle 3Sixteen. Smart color choices and clever graphics make this line a must-see this summer. Check out some highlights down below.

There’s not really a lot to think about on this one. I keep saying that this is one of those one hit wonders that will turn heads the first time, but get old fast. Yet, everytime I look at it, I can’t stop laughing. I think it’s the raised eyebrow, I mean, what are you smirking at dude? Even though I’m a Star Wars man myself, it’s nice to see someone jumping off the wobbly necked behemoth that is George Lucas and gave Star Trek it’s due.

The days of American teens stuffing themselves into overheating cars to try and cop a feel in the dark at a drive in theatre are fading fast. Nowadays, it’s all about updating your Myspace profile with ironic gang signs and tagging up the back of a Starbucks before sneaking back to Ashley’s place to skim off her dad’s liquor cabinet. You know, just doing hood rat stuff with your friends. Why in MY day…Sorry, this shirt rules. Don’t mind me.

“Are those numbers, like, the time left on my torrent downloads?” No respect for history. This is a pretty loud colorway, but something about it works for me.

“So wait, I know, this is for like, 3-D Scrabulous!” Seriously though, can you imagine getting stuck with these letters? I’ll bet some Scrabble dork out there already has a dozen 60 point combinations worked out, none of which they can pronounce or define. You people scare me.

Don’t recognize this face? Is it a young Drew Barrymore? An older Mary Kate sent from the future? Yet another really bad Amy Winehouse makeup job? Nah, it’s just some actress named Monroe…
NHTVSN tees should be arriving in shops soon. Keep an eye out at your local store or contact NHTVSN directly.
