Australian based fashion label Ksubi, well known to many celebrities, is in the works with rapper Kanye West for eyewear for Kanye’s clothing brand Pastelle. This October, Ksubi for Pastelle will be released worldwide and will also feature $2000 limited-edition gold frames.   

Word is that Japanese buyers have already placed orders without sight of the designs they’re releasing. “I love the sunnies Ksubi has produced over the years, and it’s an honor to collaborate with them on this first installment of Pastelle frames.” Said Kanye. “George is an incredibly talented designer, and I’ve never met anyone who knew more about sunglasses and other cool stuff.”  

Here’s a pic of Kanye rockin’ a pair of Ksubi sunnies from their earlier designs when Gorrow used to create stage eyewear for Kanye’s music video clips in 2006.
