Kickin’ It
Saturday, May 24, 2008 | Author: Jon LedfordKicks Hawaii has unveiled some of their Spring/Summer collection for this year. Featuring, you guessed it, graphic tees and a New Era fitted, the collection stays true to the shop’s Hawaiian roots and manages appeal to us tourists as well. The crest tee above features a vintage looking graphic which gives a sense of history as the shop heads into it’s eighth summer. Kicks Hi is definitely not dwelling on the past though, so check out the rest of their offerings below.

Here’s the New Era collaboration mentioned above. The spiked pattern is done up in two colorways. That blue piece is super dope and will be great on hot summer days. The bright blue pattern might be a little too dizzying for some, so that muted brown version might be a little easier on the eyes

Even though I can’t totally make out what’s going on in the back graphic, I really like this tee above. There’s something so ominous about the statement and the typography ties it all together perfectly. Minimal branding is a plus for those not looking to be a walking billboard.

And for those of you on the other side of that fence, nothing will shout out your support for the boys from Honolulu better than these tees. There’s some great color combos here. Sure, the design is a little on the basic side, but less can indeed be more.

Hawaii may have came last, but they are far from the least. As the 50th state to enter our not so great union, they definitely have a leg up on Wyoming at the very least. I mean, Wyoming doesn’t have a rad shirt like this in their boutiques do they? Do they even have boutiques in Wyoming? Serious question people!

Self explanatory. Dudes are established. Check out the Kicks Hi website if you aren’t taking a cruise anytime soon and want to pick up some of this gear.
