Back From The Grave
Wednesday, June 11, 2008 | Author: Jon LedfordFlying Coffin has released a lookbook of sorts featuring their new summer gear. This isn’t your typical lookbook with apathetic models posing with unused skateboards and fixed gear bikes though. No, instead Flying Coffin stays true to it’s image with a surreal use of fingers(!?)to model their clothes, as seen above. There’s some more tees and a New Era cap after the jump.

I’m psyched that Flying Coffin unabashedly flies the metal/hardcore flag like in this tee above. It’d be easy to drum up a Photoshopped image of Ghostface or some other hip hop reference for an easy sell. But let’s face it, there’s more to this culture than that, and the dudes at Flying Coffin would be doing their own thing no matter what.

I do kinda have to call shenanigans on milking the two designs above yet again. We’ve seen what this brand is capable of, so it’s a little disheartening to simply tweak color scheme when there’s so much potential for more. That said, these tees both look good, but I just hope we’ve seen the last of them for at least a little while.

The v neck tee is a rising trend right now, so get ahead of your friends with this new design featuring the Flying Coffin logo on the upper chest. Just make sure you’ve trimmed that chest hair down so you don’t end up looking like a Brillo pad. Yeesh. There’s also that dope pyramid New Era due out in July, which is bound to be in high demand. Look for the rest of the gear at your local Flying Coffin retailer now.
