So after getting some shots of the Nike SB-MX apparel, we’ve found out what the tease was all about - a four pack of shoes consisting of two Dunks and two Blazers. Images have been floating around for a little while, but now we’ve begun to get the story behind the designs as well as some idea as to a release date. Above is the centerpiece of the pack, inspired by the 24 karat gold Trickstar bike. Supposedly these are limited to 600 pairs, although without some sort of hand numbering, I’m skeptical about those estimates. Check out shots of the rest of the lineup and more info after the jump.

You probably didn’t notice, but there’s some new Mishka summer gear from their Summer In Abandon collection up above. The new lookbook was shot by Ellen Stagg who also shot lookbook for the recent Richard Kern tee collection for Mishka as well. This one is even more NSFW so I’m only posting a few shots, not because I’m worried about any of you, but because I’m not trying to get fired myself!

Hall of Fame in Los Angeles has just received the new Joker’s face fitted from the New Era DC Comics collection. The fitted is on a black and grey base with the Joker’s smile embroidered in a gold stitching. The back of the fitted reads ‘Lets put a smile on that face.‘ a quote that was taken from the upcoming ‘Dark Knight’ movie. Check out the fitteds after the jump.

So the recap of the 2008 NBA FINALS is Boston Celtics won in 6. As the majority of streetwear brands and shops out here in Los Angeles rooted for Lakers such as Crooks, Undftd, Obey and The Archrival just to name a few dropped tees chanting the Lakers. Little did we know Boston’s favorite boutique had created a shirt of their own that they would later release after the win of their own city’s Boston Celtics. Check out the tee after the jump.

Behance Magazine recently ran a brief interview with Kidrobot mastermind Paul Budnitz. The interview is fairly typical - People thought his idea for a business was crazy! He likes bright colors! He delegates responsibility! The real highlight though is the above image of several upcoming Dunnys, presumably from Series 5. The only obvious artist is Reach on the far left.

New York’s Pegleg has released their summer line without much fanfare. Pegleg definitely marches to a very unique drummer. Even as other brands are following a bit of a nautical theme, Pegleg still manages to take those same ideas in a slightly different direction. Sometimes that direction is a miss, but when this brand makes contact, they knock that design all the way into the parking lot.

File this one under bands who should have broken up a long time ago trying to stay relevant. After a couple really terrible albums that appealed to your chubby goth little sister, Alkaline Trio appear to be opting out of the Hot Topic crowd and moving down the mall to Pac Sun with appearances on The Hills and this new collaboration with Nike’s exxxxxxxxtreme lifestyle 6.0 division for landlocked dudes buying surf gear at a chain store. No confirmation as to whether or not these will be packaged with black nail polish and bottled angst, but check out some more photos below.
