The San Diego Comic-Con has been growing exponentially over the past few years. So while the announcement that Mishka is collaborating with ToyTokyo to create a tee specifically for the event this weekend is a drop in the bucket for the comics nerds and Hollywood gossip blogs, this could be a big sign of things to come in terms of streetwear. While many toy companies like KidRobot are offering exclusive designs in their decadent booths, don’t pass by the ToyTokyo booth to grab some Mishka gear.

Another day, another upcoming release from the Nike SB camp. This time around it looks like Nike is once again stealing inspired by a previous collaboration with the folks at Huf as they incorporate a tie dye graphic into the upper of the shoe. This time around though, the shoe is a mid top and comes in a more vibrant tie dye.

So by now $158 million worth of you have seen The Dark Knight, which means you also saw the first trailer for Watchmen. I’m not going to mince words - this is the most important superhero story that’s ever been told, and for me personally it’s also the most important film adaptation outside The Lord of the Rings. Many comics fans, myself included, consider this the pinnacle of the medium, with a subversive plot that I still consider too dense for a feature length movie. But it’s happening, and you can bet that one way or the other, Watchmen is going to have people talking. Check out some stills and the trailer after the jump.

Off Bowery is back with a group of summer tee designs. Simple messages and references that are just accessible enough make for some strong offerings. I particularly like the CBGB’s type on the basic logo tee above. There’s nothing over the top about it but it’s still clever and speaks to the image of the brand.

This is something fairly new to me coming from the New Era camp. This is the ‘Change Up‘ fitted which comes with a Velcro patch and patches to change up the color of your NY Yankees fitted logo. This fitted is now available at ONSPOTZ.com. I’m sure New Era will bless other teams with this new feature and other brands whom have collaborated with New Era will also take play with this.
