Back From The Grave

Flying Coffin has released a lookbook of sorts featuring their new summer gear. This isn’t your typical lookbook with apathetic models posing with unused skateboards and fixed gear bikes though. No, instead Flying Coffin stays true to it’s image with a surreal use of fingers(!?)to model their clothes, as seen above. There’s some more tees and a New Era cap after the jump.

Supreme has never been known to shy away from controversy. So it’s almost surprising that it’s taken this long for them to work with renowned skateboard artist Sean Cliver, famous for very in your face graphics that were sure to tick off your parents. This dude has created memorable decks for Powell Peralta, World Industries, Birdhouse, and Hook-Ups. Now Cliver has created two decks and corresponding tees for Supreme set to release this week.

Collaborator to the streetwear stars Benny Gold has fleshed out his unqiue style for a line of tees and a New Era cap for the summer. If you’ve seen his previous work with his own line or through collaborations with Huf, The Hundreds, Mash, and others, you’ll have an idea of what to expect. This time around though, Benny had Andy Jenkins, art director for Girl, lend a hand on a design. Check out that shirt and the rest of the line below.

Homeroom Clothing out of San Francisco has released some of their spring/summer collection. The brand has traditionally put a lot of effort into their cut n sew pieces, but even their graphic tees are a knockout this time around. Meanwhile the ut n sew remains simple with small flourishes like the logo stitching on the collar as seen above.

It Takes A Collaboration Of Millions…

Yeah, yeah, yeah Supreme just worked with them, but is there really a problem with Obey helping to get more Public Enemy gear on your back? Set to release mid June, some of the pieces in this collection are pretty dope. I mean, I don’t know how often we’ll see Flav rocking an M-65 but the jacket looks sick all the same.

Summer Is Better Amongst Friends

Friday, May 30th, 2008

20080530famongst_main.jpg

So here’s a quick update before I hit the bed and try to dissect what the hell happened in that Lost finale tonight. Amongst Friends continues to gain momentum with some new tees and belts. There’s a certain refined air, as seen above, that the brand is developing while still staying subversive. The rest of the new gear is a click away.

Since 2005, Hellz Bellz has provided edgy and contemporary females with graphic tees, jackets, denim and accessories. HB defies all rules of conformity and any fashion entity that claims a women’s style cannot breach strength, individuality and feminine flair simultaneously. This year they hold it down again with their Summer ‘08 Collection. Bringing a wide array of their highly anticipated acid-washed denim, double waisted shorts and vibrant-colored tees with messages loud enough to blow out your eardrums.

Kicks Hawaii has unveiled some of their Spring/Summer collection for this year. Featuring, you guessed it, graphic tees and a New Era fitted, the collection stays true to the shop’s Hawaiian roots and manages appeal to us tourists as well. The crest tee above features a vintage looking graphic which gives a sense of history as the shop heads into it’s eighth summer. Kicks Hi is definitely not dwelling on the past though, so check out the rest of their offerings below.
