So this weekend I was with my friend Rome from Hall of Fame in Downtown Los Angeles doing a little shopping in Little Tokyo at The Archrival and RIF LA. RIF Los Angeles is the sister store of LA Avenue in Tokyo, Japan which is one of the first consignment stores ever to open over 10 years ago. RIF LA continues the philosophy of LA Avenue by providing an 85/15 consignment service to their clients and a rich shopping experience for their customers. While shopping at RIF LA, I stumbled upon these kicks known as the Marty Mcfly’s from the Back to the Future 2 movie. Check them out after the jump.

The Vault division over at Vans has just released a trio of Half Cabs dubbed the Neighties pack. Obviously themed after that 80’s-90’s aesthetic that’s so popular these days, each shoe features the same print on the sole and upper of the shoe in three distinct color schemes. Sure, this is pretty much pandering to that corny Fresh Prince look that’s blowin’ up on Myspace (but pretty much nowhere else) but these get a pass seeing as they’re a genuine article from that time period. Creative Recreation has been holding it down since they stepped foot in the game. As apart of their newest upscale Italian Collection, they have also added the peoples favorite model the Cesario and adding some new touches to it, Although these pairs of Cesario’s don’t have the flashy bright color ways were used to.

Another day, another upcoming release from the Nike SB camp. This time around it looks like Nike is once again stealing inspired by a previous collaboration with the folks at Huf as they incorporate a tie dye graphic into the upper of the shoe. This time around though, the shoe is a mid top and comes in a more vibrant tie dye.

With today’s release of his ninth studio album, it seems fitting that Nas, a living legend in New York hip hop, would collaborate with the New York institution that is Alife. Getting down together not just on the above tee, Nas put on a special performance in the Alife courtyard. Say what you will about the album’s title and the controversy surrounding it, but I have to admit I wish I could have seen this first hand. It’s pretty safe to say that without a certain pair of turquoise sneakers, Diamond Supply Co. would not be where it is today. After successful footwear collaborations with Nike and DVS, Nick Diamond is expanding on his phenomenally popular shirt designs with some back to basics sneakers of his own. The initial offering consists of the Brilliant Cut High pictured above, and the Diamond Cut Low which you can check out after the jump.

The latest Nike Quickstrike is a tribute to LA. This Blazer Mid features a number of references to the City of Angels from the “213” on the heel tab to the “LAX” on the inner panel of the Blazer, this shoe was made for LA.
