The Hundreds are releasing their newest line Rosewood Collection at their flagship store on Rosewood in Los Angeles. The special line is more personalized and specific to Los Angeles than their more popular tee-shirt lines PFK and The Hundreds. World famous artist and sneaker customizer Methamphiban has been creating quite a buzz. Meth was one of 13 artists commissioned for the Mountain Dew Green Label project and he also just wrapped up his first solo exhibit. These toys were created as promotional items for the exhibit. Triad made the figures which are extremely limited, only 25 total . The characters’ name is Winter and you can check out more pics here…… (more…)

The crew over at Grey One/Soul Assassins (an influential boutique out in Los Angeles) has teamed up with Mixi-Bang a Toy vinyl store to produce an upcoming vinyl toy, a version of the popular DAMINCI figure. Comic Con kicks off next month but here is a preview of one of the slew of toys that will be sold exclusively at the convention. It’s a set of two Bearbricks modeled after Joe Linsner’s Dawn and Death. There will only be 2007 available however, Comic Con usually gets packed. Over 123,000 people were in attendance last year with some getting turned away due to going over capacity. If you’re a die hard collector, and super comic enthusiast, you might want to make sure your guarantee yourself entry.

We will soon see the release of a set of Fendi bags under the collection name “Forever.” Coincidentally, there are some Bearbricks that come in the same colorways as the metallic bags set to drop. It seems like metallics are still poppin’ and if you can’t cop a bag, maybe the Bearbrick will do. (more…)
